Proposed First Release of beach huts on Selsey Bill
There is a mailing lists for those interested in buying a hut. All those on our buying list will be contacted and invited to bid.
Over the past years huts in nearby villages have sold for between £10,000 - £25,000. The annual licence fee (currently £300 + VAT) council tax and buyer's premium should be taken into account when bidding.
There is a licence to Occupy Agreement setting out terms and conditions, bidders will be sent a copy of the terms and conditions of the licence.
Huts are licenced on a open-ended lease, the licensee owns the hut but the licensor continues to own the site
Owners are able to let their huts out privately but this is not organised by the company
Huts may not be used overnight
All sales and tranfers must be carried out by the Selsey Beach Huts Company. There is a' buyers premium' of 10% + VAT on an agreed sale price
During the coming year the remainder will be released for sale or annual rental.
